300+ Learning Videos at Open U. YouTube Channel

Open education is very much on my mind this week. So, while it has already been noted in other places, I want to make sure to point out the launch of the British Open University’s YouTube Channel, OUView. (You can also check out the announcement on OU’s Facebook page.)

This may not be the most educational of the offerings on OUView, but here’s a humorous little science experiment called Chopper in a Box. (For something a bit more off the wall, check out the Lab Rat’s ‘Sperm Race’ video!)

While you are taking a look at OUView, be sure to stop by OU’s OpenLearn channel, which will apparently be going away at some point, and if you are not already familiar with it, visit the OpenLearn site, which offers a wide range of free learning materials as well as as tools for remixing and re-using the open educational resources offered on the site.
